As one of the most common materials in daily life, metal materials play a vital role in the national economy. Metallic materials have many unique properties, such as high strength, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, which make them the preferred materials in construction, manufacturing, automotive industry and electronic equipment. Traditional metal processing usually uses integrated casting, that is, metal is melted and poured into a mold to form plates, rods or wires. For the production of special-shaped metal parts, the traditional method needs to reproduce the casting mold, which not only increases the cost, but also consumes a lot of time and human resources.   However, the advent of laser cutting technology has completely changed this situation. Laser cutting is an advanced technology to cut metal materials by high-energy laser beam. It does not require the use of a mold and can directly cut the metal in a special shape. Laser cutting technology uses the high energy density and high focusing degree of laser beam to locally heat the metal material to melt or gasify, and then remove it by airflow or mechanical force, thus realizing the cutting process. Compared with traditional mechanical cutting methods such as wire cutting, sawing, planing and milling, laser cutting shows many advantages. First of all, laser cutting can achieve very precise cutting, whether it is simple straight cutting or complex special-shaped cutting, it can be easily completed. Secondly, there is almost no mechanical contact in the laser cutting process, so the loss of some tools can be avoided, and the time and cost of subsequent processing can be reduced. In addition, laser cutting also has the characteristics of high efficiency, strong flexibility and high degree of automation, which can greatly improve the production efficiency and quality.   The field of metal processing has witnessed tremendous changes in laser technology. Through innovative laser cutting and drilling methods, our team has successfully solved a series of problems under the traditional way, improved the processing efficiency, accuracy and product quality. In the processing cases of stainless steel sheets, copper parts and precious metal foils, laser technology shows its unique advantages of high efficiency, precision and no burrs.

Case 1: Laser cutting of stainless steel sheet: modern processing technology with high efficiency and precision   Stainless steel is an alloy material composed of iron, chromium, nickel and other elements. It has been widely used in industrial fields because of its corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and good mechanical properties. The significance of stainless steel cutting is to meet the needs of different industries for fine cutting. Stainless steel materials often need to be cut in a variety of shapes to meet specific design requirements. However, the traditional mechanical cutting methods are often unable to meet the requirements of high precision and complex shape, so laser cutting technology is particularly important. The difficulties of stainless steel cutting mainly include the following aspects: First, stainless steel has high hardness and heat resistance, and the traditional mechanical cutting methods are often inefficient and easy to cause material deformation. Secondly, stainless steel material is easy to produce heat affected zone and oxide layer, which affects the cutting quality. In addition, the thickness and hardness of stainless steel are different, so it is necessary to select the appropriate cutting parameters and techniques.   Here, Boyi Laser Team has been practiced and optimized many times to ensure high-quality stainless steel cutting effect. We use customized ultra-hard material precision laser cutting machine, combined with appropriate cutting parameters and technology, to achieve a precise and smooth cutting edge, to meet the quality and use requirements of stainless steel materials. The laser cutting method has the advantages that the cutting edge is more flat and smooth, no slag is generated, the surface after cutting is clean and tidy, the workload of subsequent treatment is reduced, and the quality of the product is ensured. The actual test results show that the cutting speed of laser cutting machine is more than 10 times that of traditional cutting equipment. For example, when cutting 2mm stainless steel plate, the maximum speed of laser cutting can reach 5mm/s, which significantly improves the production efficiency.

Through the application of innovative technology, Boyi Laser Team has successfully improved the cutting process of stainless steel sheets, bringing more efficient and reliable solutions to the processing field. Laser cutting technology of stainless steel sheet is becoming a new trend in the industry, which promotes the continuous development of the processing field. The above improvement measures make laser cutting of stainless steel sheet an efficient, accurate and high-quality processing method.

Case 2: Laser-Cut Copper Harmonica Seat Plates and Reeds: The Beauty of Finely Machined Copper Alloys   Copper is a common metal material with good electrical and thermal conductivity, and copper is also a high reflective material. The significance of laser cutting copper harmonica base plate and reed is to achieve high-precision processing of copper materials and ensure the quality and accuracy of products. As an important part of the instrument, the copper harmonica base plate and reed need to be cut and processed with high precision to ensure the sound quality and performance effect. The difficulty of copper cutting lies in the high thermal conductivity, high thermal expansion coefficient and high reflectivity of copper materials, which are prone to deformation and oxidation in the cutting process. Therefore, it is necessary to control the cutting speed and energy density in the cutting process to avoid adverse effects. Copper base plate cutting requirements: The base plate cutting needs to ensure flatness and accuracy to ensure the overall structure and sound quality of the harmonica. Copper reed cutting requirements: The reed cutting is more fine, requiring less burrs and slag to ensure the smoothness and intonation of the harmonica.   By optimizing laser cutting technology, Boyi Laser Team has successfully solved a series of problems of traditional cutting methods by using customized precision laser cutting machine for superhard materials with appropriate laser processing parameters, and has achieved significant advantages in the field of metal copper processing. Comparison of samples: By comparing the traditional cutting samples [Fig. 3 (a), Fig. 4 (a)] with our laser cutting results [Fig. 3 (b), Fig. 4 (b)], it is obvious that the laser cutting rectangular and circular edges are smoother, without obvious shape, burrs and slag. Through sample measurement and observation, laser cutting shows higher fineness in the field of metal processing compared with traditional methods, which provides more exquisite technological support for harmonica production.

The laser cutting of the copper harmonica base plate and reed not only ensures the accuracy of the production process, but also shows the exquisite beauty of copper, an outstanding metal. The wide application of laser cutting technology in metal processing has injected the power of modern science and technology into harmonica production, making traditional instruments glow with new brilliance. Through continuous innovation and technological upgrading, our team is committed to providing more efficient and precise solutions for the field of copper cutting, creating a better laser cutting technology for copper.

Case 3: Precious metal foil laser drilling technology: accurate, efficient and burr-free   Silver foil is a thin sheet made of pure silver, which is often used in the fields of electronics, art and decoration. The silver-copper alloy is an alloy formed by mixing metal silver and copper in a certain proportion, and has high conductivity and corrosion resistance. The laser drilling technology of precious metal foils is of great significance in silver foils and silver-copper alloy materials. First of all, punching can give more functionality to these materials. In electronics, for example, holes are punched by lasers to make conductive lines and tiny components; in decoration and art, holes are punched to create unique patterns and textures. However, the punching of precious metal foils also faces some difficulties. First of all, because the material is thin and soft, it is easy to deform and burn. Secondly, the traditional mechanical cutting method often produces burrs and slag, which affects the beauty and functionality. In addition, noble metal foils usually have high reflectivity and thermal conductivity, which brings challenges to laser absorption and thermal conduction.   The traditional mechanical drilling is difficult to meet the processing accuracy, easy to produce burrs and micro-cracks, and the efficiency is relatively low. In order to solve these problems, Boyi Laser Team used laser technology to drill holes according to the requirements of processing drawings. Laser drilling of precious metal foils has many advantages. First of all, laser drilling can achieve very precise aperture and position control, which ensures the quality and consistency of products. Secondly, there is almost no mechanical contact in the laser drilling process, which avoids material deformation and surface damage. In addition, laser drilling is fast and efficient, and is suitable for large-scale production. Most importantly, laser drilling can achieve no burrs and slag, which improves the beauty and functionality of the product.

Through the laser drilling test of silver foil and silver-copper alloy sheet, the laser team of Boyi has demonstrated excellent results in the laser drilling technology of precious metal foil: it can not only achieve precise holes on silver foil and silver-copper alloy, with smooth edges and no obvious deformation and burrs, but also ensure that the accuracy of hole diameter and hole spacing is within 5 microns. This high quality perforation effect provides more possibilities for the application of precious metal foils and meets the process requirements of high precision. Laser drilling technology shows great potential in precious metal foil processing and brings new possibilities for industrial production.   Welcome to call: 15129568382 (Dr. Tang).
